Ministry (WARM)
Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry
(WARM) is an outreach ministry which started in the United
Methodist Churches of the Wilmington District. Now it
involves volunteers who work to rehabilitate homes for the
impoverished in our midst. Many of our members have
worked on WARM projects - which are generally scheduled for
about once a quarter. One our major projects last year
was the construction of a new house in the Rocky Point area
for a person who lost her home to a Tornado in August 2005.
The Wrightsboro UMC office also serves as the office for
