Wrightsboro United Methodist Church, being a family oriented church, cares for
its family members in several ways;
Prayer Chain- The prayer chain is a one of the ways in which
we are able to inform our prayer warriors of concerns
throughout the week so that they can lift the needs up in
prayer. Our prayer chain leader is Linda Gintoli at 790-7804
or email at igintoli@ec.rr.com
Prayer requests may also be e-mailed to willing recipients
throughout the church body. To be placed on this list,
please complete the following short form:
What’s Going On At Wrightsboro is another way of letting
persons know what is going on each week at the Church. This
is sent out via e-mail by our Administrative Assistant Stacy
Bryn each Wednesday. If you wish to be on this list, please
send your e-mail address to
stacy@wrightsboroumc.org.
Bread Ministry- Every Sunday our first-time visitors are
welcomed with the loaf of bread baked by one of the men of
our church. This is just our way of saying “thank you” for
being a part of our worship. Visitors can pick up their loaf
from one of our greeters at the visitors center in the
vestibule.
Emmaus Community- Many of our Wrightsboro members are
involved with the Walk to Emmaus which is held in spring and
fall. The Walk to Emmaus is an opportunity for individuals
to spend a weekend in spiritual enrichment and renewal in a
new exciting way. For more information see www. ccemmaus.org
United Methodist Women- The Lelia Florrid Circle is
currently the group of United Methodist Women at meet on a
regular basis. They meet the first Tuesday of each month at
11:30 A.M. for food, fellowship, program and business either
in the Fellowship Hall or at someone’s home. The Circle is
involved with hands-on missions and support of the ministry
of the Church.
United Methodist Men- meet each Second Sunday for a “country
breakfast” at 7:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. After
breakfast, the men have a program and business. Each spring,
the UMM presents to the graduating seniors from Wrightsboro
a scholarship which can be used at the school of their
choice.
Silverteens- is an organization for those over 55 years of
age. They meet each month usually on the Second Tuesday for
lunch, program or a trip. They are also involved in serving
the church through mission projects. |
